Also need help on where to stay between our desinations, and what are the most senic roads to take.We will be flying into Jackson, and out of Spokane.

Summer Trip Itinerary

Yes it is an awesome drive, probably the most spectactular drive you will have on the entire trip and you could spend that night in Red Lodge Mt. a nice town. Then an easy drive to Glacier, if you take 90 west out Laurel to Big Timber then northon 191 to Harlowton then West on 12 to the junction of 89 and over Kings Hill to GreatFalls and on to Glacier Park. Be sure to stop at the Blair Ranch Museum at Martinsdale about 30 miles west of Halowton, you won%26#39;t believe it.

Summer Trip Itinerary

Wow what a trip! We may cross paths with you. (We will be in Yellowstone area Aug 9-15 and Glacier area Aug 18-22.

Are you going to stay in 1 place in each park? Have you made reservations yet? Many places are already full. With all the moving around you are doing, I would just drive from Yellowstone to GNP, unless there is something specific you want to do between the parks. Have you found a car rental you can take into Canada?

This is quite an ambitious trip. Are your kids good in the car? Your trip is 9 places in 18 days. Ours is 7 hotels in 14 days. All the moving around in our trip has me worried (2 nights Cody, 1 night Old Faithful, 3 nights Gardiner, 2 nights Hardin, 3 nights Whitefish, 2 Nights Swiftcurrent in GNP, 1 night Billings before AM flight) But I think that it is the best way to see the parks.

Unless your family likes to do drive bys, I think I would eliminate at least one place.

Where id you stay in Hardin and how did it go?
