I have 5 days booked at Lake MacDonald Lodge. Are day trips to Many Glacier, St Marys and Warterton possible. Would it be better to book two days in Many glacier. We fly in and out of Kalispell.

I%26#39;d book a couple of days at Many Glacier. That area is worth spending at least that much time.

The Red Bus Tour would get you to that area for a day trip if you didn%26#39;t want to drive it and stayed at Lake McDonald. Don%26#39;t know about Waterton.

Look at the Swiftcurrent Area Pictures. Nice area and that%26#39;s where Many Glacier is too.

I wouldn%26#39;t spend 5 days at the Lake McDonald Lodge. Definitely move over to Many Glacier for at least a couple of those! The west and east sides of Glacier have really different weather/geography.

I would split my stay between the two places. Depending on if you want to hike, there are many more trails right in Many Glacier, close to the hotels.
