Stagette ideas for whitefish?

We are planning a stagette for the end of June, and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for fun pubs, great food, or day activities ( ie, rafting/ hikes, etc).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry you%26#39;re striking out. I can%26#39;t help you -- maybe the word Stagette is too unfamiliar to people around here.

We%26#39;d call it a Girls Night Out or Bachelorette Party.

Stagette sounds like you need to go to Vegas to do something that stays in Vegas!

Definitely go to Glaicer Park. They have rafting and all sorts of activites. Just driving up the Going to the Sun Road is an adventure in its own and truly beautiful. If you are looking for a girls night out I would stay in Whitefish where you can walk from your hotel, or take a shuttle back and forth. There are all sorts of bars and restaurants on Main Street that would be great to do some bar hopping. Otherwise there is Red%26#39;s in Kalispell that has dj music and dancing. Sometimes they have live music too. A nice restaurant with a full bar is North Bay Grille about a block south of the Mall in Kalispell. Going to the Raven on Flathead Lake is also a great idea. It is south of Bigfork right on the lake. The Sitting Duck is also right there and there is a cool brewery right across the road. I love sitting out on the decks there and having a margarita and enjoying the wonderful views of the Lake. You can also rent jet skis and catamarn boats if you are staying on the lake. June the water will still be quite cold, but you could rent a wet suit to go along with the wave runners. Have fun!!

Thank you so much for your info!

I think we will try to do a hike or go rafting during the day, and for sure we will stay right in downtown whitefish. Is there any not to miss bars- or good places for dancing/live music right in whitefish?

Hi Oncall

I think I can answer your question after spending many girls weekends in The Fish! Our night out ussually starts with cocktails at the Bulldog. Watch out, they free pour. Pay the bit extra for premium liquor as their bar brand will give you a bad headache!. They have the best burgers and sourcream fries if you need some eats! No table service, all at the bar. Then we head over to the Great Northern which is just down the street. Always live music, always a strange mix of people, always a great time. There is a bar called Casey%26#39;s just down the street, it is a younger crowd, with a large dance floor and a stage (pole) that tends to attract a interesting mix of dancers. Might be fun for the bride!

There are fabulous restaurants if you want something a little more refined. Mambo Italiano is our favorite. The Whitefish golf course has a great fine dining restaurant if you plan to golf, or not, worth the trip. There is a new restaurant, across from the bulldog, 49 or something which I have heard is great. Also a great sushi restaurant that you will need reservations at. For breakfast I recommend the Buffalo Cafe or Swift Creek. If you don%26#39;t have time to go to Glacier, Big Mountain has hiking trails and the chair lift should be open to the top of the moutain. If the Hellroaring Saloon is open at the base of the chair they have good food and drinks as well as a nice patio looking out over Whitefish lake.

One thing we like to do is a little pampering at one of the many spas. Sage can do 3 pedicures together which is fun. Last year we went to the Spa at Whitefish Lake Lodge, it was expensive and all individual rooms. Just make your arrangements well ahead so they can fit you all in at once.

This is a little long but one last thing. Getting a cab in Whitefish is difficult...there are only two. If you are in walking distance of the downtown, not a problem. If not, have a DD or leave the bar before closing. They are ruthless at closing and it makes it hard to get a cab.

Have a great weekend. THis year our girls weekend is the end of May. Looking forward to it.

thanks again for the info! we have been to the great northern and loved it but good to know about that caseys place. It%26#39;s good to know that we can hike in town and about the different resturants that you reccomended. We are so excited!!!!
